Dear Friends & Supporters,                                                                                 April 1, 2007

With great joy and gratitude we come one more time to share and inform you of the blessings and the missionary progress that God has allowed us to realize in this Mexican-American border. Thank you for your love.

WMB  Builds the Biggest Church Building in the State of Coahuila in Allende

With the help of an army of more than 100 servants, World Mission Builders built the biggest church building measuring 48 X 92 feet. God gave us the opportunity to accomodate and arrange room and board and other local contacts and necesities. We helped transport groups back and forth to the project area. We had the opportunity to serve as translators of 2 weeks of Evangelistic campaigns in Allende. During these campaigns three young women accepted Christ and were baptized in the new baptistry of the new church building. We praise the Lord for this. In Nava, a close village to Allende, we also taught for 2 weeks. This building will be a huge blessing to the community in Allende, Coahuila.  Thank Ed Thomas, Dr. Joe Wilson and all the excellent team that made this great project a reality.

Texas Fellowship Convention Names New Secretary and 2007 Coordinator

In a business meeting held in San Antonio on March 10, Betty was named secretary and Mario was named the Program Coordinator for 2007 of this event. This has kept us very busy writing many letters and making numerous phone calls to move this event forward. The next bussiness meeting will be held in Eagle Pass, Tx on Saturday April 21 at noon. Betty has the minutes and agenda ready for this event. Please play for great progamming and planning.

 Camp Chamacuero in Action

Mario continues as president of the board of this Christian camp conducting meetings and coordinating programs coming up in April, May and July. There has been physical work done at the camp with the help of various American mission groups, who have improved the condition of our campus. Also, our friend Robert Michelle of New Mexico has donated a car for camp use and other friends have donated money to register it in Mexico. Soon we will have this car working.

We are very excited about a spiritual retreat for Youth happening on the first week of April with the participation of David Empson, the coordinator of the Youth National Missionary Convention.

On April 14, there will be a meeting with the exectuvie directors and the deans of each week to review the programing of the weeks of camp, reviewing their faculty and staff making sure all bases are covered. We will also begin working on the publicity for these camp events.

Family News

Abner, Claudia and our grandchildren continue in Eagle Pass ministering for God at a local Christian church in the music ministry. They serve as music directors and gel group leaders. Mashyell continues working as a teacher at CC Winn High School with the special education department. She is also running for City Council Place 3 of our city of Eagle Pass. Mario & Vanessa are on their way to Kansas City, working really hard and expecting their first child in October. This makes us very proud as Grandparents again-to-be of this new child. We ask for your prayers for our children and grandchildren and for their spiritual life and ministries. Thank you for your love and heartfelt prayers!
