Dear Friends and Supporters of MBC Ministries,                                             September 2006

With great joy and privilege we come to share with you what God has been doing in and with our lives.  God has truly been blessing and prospering us as we see the work of the Lord growing and moving forward.

 Ministy in Colonia Lázaro Cárdenas.

God has been good and is blessing this new group as we see much spiritual growth learning and growing more in His divine word. Three people have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and were baptized in September.  Their names are Ernesto Hernández Rodríguez, Arizbel Gámez de Hernández  y Maria Ansélma Guerra de Gámez.  To God be the glory for these new souls in Christ. In the same way this church is growing in numbers from 25 to 45 to more people.  We give God the glory as many are very receptive to the invitation as they see that we are interested in sharing salvation for their souls.  The task is hard but we must persevere.

We wish to ask for your prayers  so that we can receive a donated land that we need to build a new church building that Lord willing will be built free of charge this March 2006 by World Mission Builders which Ed Tomas and Joe Wilson are in charge. We as a church are responsible to have the land ready in the churches name. We ask for your prayers that all this may be possible.

Mission/Evangelistic Trips for the Calderon in Mexico and USA.

God has given us the opportunity to share His word in national reunions in the U.S. and Mexico.  God allowed us to be in Tulsa Ok.. in the National Hispanic Convention of the Spanish speaking Christian churches. The following week we were able to go to the National Christian Convention in Zacatecas Mexico, then also held an Evangelistic campaign in Nueva Rosita Coahuila. We were then able to spend some time with our son Mario and daughter-in-law Vanessa in Minnesota for one week preaching to the English-Spanish congregation in Apple Valley Minnesota.  This was for us a small vacation.

On September 10th we held a directors meeting for MBCM to pursue the Honorarium Doctorate  in the area of missions that God will allow Mario and Betty to obtain in April 2006 from the Christian University of Bronx in New York.

Christian Convention of Texas

The directors of the Christian Convention of Texas will have their monthly meeting on October 8 in Houston Texas.  This meeting will finalize all the details for the upcoming convention in November during Thanksgiving of which Mario serves as director and Vice President.

Radio Marathon for ‘Radio Manantial’

Lord willing on the 6, 7 y 8 we will be conduction a Radio marathon to reach funds for the Christian station to continue for the next 6 months. We give thanks to God for allowing us to be part of this way to transmit the gospel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 12 months a year.  We do not have count of the many blessings and souls that through this way are saved.  To Him be the glory!!

Chamacuero Christian Camp

Mario will be assisting the annual planning meeting of this Christian camp on October 8 in one of the churches in Piedras Negras  Coahuila-México. This camp serves north of the Mexico and south Texas.  Mario has served in this camp for 40 years. MBC Ministries, INC. will be in charge of coordinating one of the weeks in 2006.

Training Campaign in Saltillo and Nueva Rosita  COAHUILA

We give thanks to God for the opportunity to train the Lord’s church for His service.  We will be sharing the theme, “The Family of God.”

On October 14 thru 16 we will be in Saltillo with Antonio Escobedo  and the first week of December in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila with Jesús Rangel. We ask for you prayers for physical strength, wisdom and ability as we prepare and present these intensive seminaries of Bible teachings.

Possible Trip to Israel

From November 28 thru December 10 there is the possibility of a short trip to the Holy Land with the evangelist and missionary José Santana González of San Antonio, TX with a  group of other Christian brothers. This will be possible if we have the financial support to make this trip happen.  We ask for your prayers that this may become a reality.

With Deep Gratitude from Our Hearts

We say good bye, by saying thanks for your spiritual, moral and financial support that keeps this ministry going.   You are a vital part of this ministry’s success.

Blessings to you from
